Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel
Location
Designed to compliment its stunning surroundings, the Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel offers a contemporary twist on the traditional Cotswold break.
With superb road links, the hotel is ideally placed for touring the surrounding area. From idyllic Cotswold villages like Bourton-on-the-Water, often described as the ‘Little Venice’ of the Cotswolds, to the Regency spa town of Cheltenham with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants, there are many local attractions not to be missed.
And then there is the Cotswold Water Park itself – covering over 40 square miles and with 140 different lakes it’s a truly unique area with an exciting range of outdoor activities. Dive into one of the amazing watersports including angling, sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and wake boarding – equipment hire and tuition is readily available. Or, if you prefer to stay dry, why not try cycling, horse-riding or simply walking and enjoying the beauty of the nature reserves.
Accommodation
Bedrooms – choose from standard en-suite rooms through to lake view suites, suites with a kitchen and rooms with disabled access. All rooms are light, airy and modern. All are furnished and decorated in similar style and come with tea and coffee making facilities and free wireless broadband access.
Self Catering Apartments – choose from studio, one, two or three bedroom apartments all of which include full use of the hotel’s facilities. Again the accommodation is spacious and contemporary with fully equipped kitchen and dining facilities.
Dining
The Lakeside Restaurant – floor to ceiling windows make the most of the stunning lakeside view and, in fine weather, the deck area is perfect for ‘al fresco’ dining. Breakfast, dinner and Sunday lunch are served here.
The Old Boathouse – a gastro pub adjacent to the hotel (2 minutes walk around the lake) specialising in modern British food originating from the local Cotswold area.
The Lounge and Bar – open from early morning til late at night, this is a very pleasant area to sit and enjoy drinks, a light meal or traditional Cotswold afternoon tea.
